The diversity project is a photo series that I have been thinking about doing for a very long time, where I can bring and photograph strangers together at iconic locations around the city of Toronto! More specifically using this opportunity to create an experience and dialogue for us to see how different and similar our narratives are.
It was a really early and cold Sunday morning, but we met, mingled and I got to photograph a cool set of portraits showcasing the people and landmarks that makes Toronto one of the most unique cities on this planet. A huge shout out to everyone who came out and made this random idea come to life!
Why Honest Ed’s?
Well the series will consist of landmarks throughout the city, but Honest Ed’s was the first one that came to mind because it has been officially closed down and will not exist in the coming weeks or months!
I will be doing my very best to make this a monthly meet!
Be sure to keep a look out for the next date, time and location for diversity project 002.
